Madha Medical College Chennai affiliated with TNMGRMU, is located in Thandalam, Chennai. It is part of the Madha Group of Institutions and was established in 2011. Though one of the relatively newer private medical colleges in the region, it aims to serve underprivileged populations around Chennai and Kanchipuram. The institution’s infrastructure is modest but functional, with a decent library, auditorium, and hospital block.
The college has faced scrutiny in previous years regarding recognition and consistency in administration. However, in recent years, governance has improved. PG courses are limited in number and subject choices. Students interested in quieter setups with moderate academic pressure may find this place suitable.

The hospital caters to a semi-urban/rural mix. OPD attendance is consistent in Medicine, Surgery, and Paediatrics, while certain specialities such as Psychiatry and Dermatology are developing. Surgical branches may not have consistent OT exposure, but OBG and Emergency postings are relatively better in patient load. Clinical rounds and case presentations are regularly conducted. Diagnostic departments are slowly ramping up services.
