Shri Balaji IMS Raipur is one of the newer additions to private medical colleges in Chhattisgarh. Affiliated with the state medical university, SBIMS is backed by the Shri Balaji Education Society, which also runs other paramedical and nursing colleges in the region. The college has aimed to bridge the healthcare gap in Raipur and surrounding areas through affordable services and medical training.
The hospital is a 300+ bedded multispecialty facility with separate OPDs, minor and major OTs, ICU, NICU, and emergency services. Infrastructure is still developing, but the management is actively expanding diagnostic services and lab facilities. The college is yet to develop a strong academic reputation, and some departments lack experienced faculty.
