MDS Admission Process 2024-25
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot conducts counseling for Government Medical College (50% seats and another 50% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Universities and private Medical College ( includes Non-Minority, and religious minority institutions), by BFUHS.
Punjab NEET MDS Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- All the students aspiring to appear in the Punjab NEET MDS Counselling must have a domicile in Punjab.

General Eligibility Criteria (Applicable to All)
- He/she must have qualified NEET MDS 2024
- He/she must possess an MBBS degree from an institute recognized by MCI
- He/she must have completed his/her compulsory rotatory internship by June 30, 2024
Punjab MDS Admission Process 2024
To apply for for Punjab MDS counselling, one has to follow the following steps:
Step 1 – Registration Process
- Register on Baba Farid University’s online portal using the mobile number and email id.
- With successful registration, candidates shall receive the login details via SMS.
Step 2 – Application Process
- Use the details received through SMS to fill in the following application form by giving the correct personal, educational, and other details.
- Upload the photograph and signature of the candidate. The size and dimensions of the photograph should not exceed 30 kb and 35 x 45 mm respectively.
- Complete the process by paying the application fee. No admission forms are accepted without the payment of the fee.
Step 3 – Document Verification
- This stage accounts for the document verification of the micro–reserved category of students. Other kinds of verifications shall take place at the later stages.
Step 4 – Release of the Provisional Merit List
- Now, the merit lists shall be released by Baba Farid University, including the names, and ranks of the candidates.
- The students, after checking their names, shall be able to access the online portal for Counselling dates.
Step 4 – Choice Filling for Counselling
- On the basis of rank, the options for medical colleges shall be provided to the candidates.
- Candidates must select the institutions in the order of their preference by logging in on the portal of Baba Farid University.
- At least two subsequent choice-filling options shall be available to the students.
- Even after appearing in the first round of Counselling for the first choice of the college, the students have the option to vacate the seat for shifting to some other college in the second round of Counselling.
- However, once the seats are allotted in the second round of Counselling, the candidates might not be able to shift their seats as per the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
- In case of abandoning the admission process and not selecting the seats in the second round of Counselling, the security deposit shall be forfeited.
Step 5 – Seat Allotments
- Now, the students can check the provisional allotments in the seat allotment list released on the website of Baba Farid University.
- These provisional allotments are subject to the document verifications of the candidates that shall take place at the university campus itself.
Step 6 – Final Document Verification
- Now, selected students must visit the allotted colleges and get their documents verified to complete the admission process.

- NEET MDS 2024 Result
- NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card
- Mark sheet of BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd-year examinations
- Qualifying examination certificate, that is, BDS Degree Certificate (5)Permanent or provisional certificate provided by DCI/Dental Council
