Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Tamil Nadu PG 2024 medical admission will be open only to candidates who meet the eligibility requirements. The candidate must ensure that they fulfil all eligibility requirements before filling out the Tamil Nadu PG medical admission application form. Candidates who have completed the MBBS degree course from any other university have to produce an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, at the time of counselling.

The DME, Chennai, will conduct four rounds of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling 2024, including a mop-up round. The Tamil Nadu PG medical admission counselling will be done online. All candidates included in the Tamil Nadu PG 2024 medical merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Read the Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling procedure here.

Step 1 Registration: Go to the official website of DME at tnmedicalselection.net. 

• At the home page click on the ‘PG Courses-Medical’ tab.
• Select the course and log in with the NEET PG 2024 Roll number and password.
• Enter the required details in the respective fields.
• Verify details and submit the information to complete the registration.

• Once the registration process is complete, they will be re-directed to the application form for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling.
• It is advised that candidates fill out the Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling application form carefully. Once the application form has been submitted, it cannot be edited.
• Next, the applicant should print a copy of the duly completed application form on A4 paper. Candidates must sign in the space provided on the Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 application form.
• All enclosures should be attached and put in a cloth-lined A4 cover.

Step 2 Pay Registration Fee: After registration is completed the candidate needs to pay the fee.

• Go to the ‘Pay Registration Fee’ option available after form submission.
• Enter registration credentials and pay the registration fee.
• The registration fee for Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024 is Rs. 3,000.
• Confirm payment through the online payment portal and download the fee receipt.

Step 3 Pay Security Money: The candidate needs to pay the security deposit based on medical college seats. 

• Go to the ‘Pay Security Money’ tab after the registration form submission.
• Enter registration information and pay the Security Money as per the medical college seat.
• Confirm payment and download the receipt of the security deposit.

Step 4: Online Choice Filling and Locking

• After the registration process, candidates must select and lock in their preferred college.
• Additionally, candidates must pay INR 1000 to lock their seats.

Step 5: Seat Allotment List

• Once the choice-filling process is over, the seat allotment list is released online. 
• Candidates must note that the conducting authority will give admission to their preferred college based on available seats and merit list.

Step 6: Reporting to the allotted institute

• The selected candidates will be required to report to the assigned institute for verification of documents within the stipulated period and complete the admission process.

Tamil Nadu NEET PG counseling- Merit List 2024

The Tamil Nadu NEET PG Merit List 2024 will be published by DMER, TN  based on the state merit rank of candidates in the NEET PG 2024 exam. The Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024 Rank List is announced before the choice-filling procedure at the official website of Tamil Nadu NEET. 

The DMER publishes the Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024 Rank List after the registration process is completed online. Candidates whose names appear on this state merit list will be eligible to participate in the choice-filling process.

For NRI Quota candidates the following additional documents will be required for the Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024:

• Certificate for NRI status of financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy in the respective country
• Document stating the relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the applying candidate. This certificate should be issued by the competent authority as mandated by DMER.
• NRI financial supporter’s valid Indian Passport
• Non-Resident External (NRE) bank account passbook of the NRI financial supporter
• Signed Declaration (Annexure-III)
