West Bengal PG Medical 2024 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria
Medical aspirants are required to fulfill certain eligibility conditions to participate in the processes of West Bengal PG 2024 medical admission. These conditions are mentioned in the points below:
- Candidates must qualify for NEET PG 2024
- The state quota seats will be of three categories as given below
- Category A – Candidates who have completed MBBS from the state of West Bengal.
- Category B – Candidates who have completed their MBBS from outside the state but they or their parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.
- Category C –Aspirants who have completed their MBBS outside the state but have been employed in the rural areas under the West Bengal government for a regular 3 years.
- Candidates must complete their MBBS from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Aspirants must be registered with MCI/State Medical Council.
- Candidates must complete the mandatory 12-month rotatory internship.
- The medical fitness of the candidate is mandatory.

West Bengal NEET PG Counselling 2024- Application Form
Candidates who wish to participate in the West Bengal NEET PG/ NEET MDS counseling need to register themselves on the official website of WBMCC. To register on the portal, candidates had to provide the following information:

- NEET PG/NEET MDS roll number
- Date of birth
- Mobile number
On clicking ‘Submit’, the all-India rank of the candidates in the respective examination (NEET PG/NEET MDS) will be displayed. This will verify that the details entered by the candidates are authentic. On proceeding further, candidates were required to enter the date on which they had completed their internship and the total number of correct responses in NEET PG/NEET MDS.
Only those candidates who completed their internship on or before August 15, 2024, will be able to proceed further and apply for the West Bengal PG medical counseling.

Offline: For confirming the admissions offline candidates have to report to the allocated institute personally. They must submit their documents (original and 2 attested copies) for verification. They must also pay the academic fee post which they will receive the admission letter.
