Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check for the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities before Applying for the Uttarakhand State Counselling

• Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian for Uttarakhand state quota admission.
• Domicile: Candidates should have passed MBBS from the state university or have a Domicile in Uttarakhand.
• Education: The applicants must have completed their MBBS degree from a NMC accredited institution.
• Entrance exam: The candidate must have qualified for the NEET PG 2024.
• Internship: The candidate must have completed their mandatory one-year internship before 15th August 2024. 
• Registration: The candidate must have NMC registration and later register with Uttarakhand State Medical Council within 02 months of joining the PG course. 
• Pursuing Candidates: Candidates already studying any PG medical course will not be eligible till they complete the ongoing PG course.
• In-Service: Candidates must be regular In-service Medical Officers in PMHS, Uttarakhand to be eligible for the Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling process.
• Other Criteria: Candidates applying for reserved or Management Quota seats must fulfil the requirements for respective categories.

Uttarakhand NEET PG counselling is conducted online. It has three rounds which are online while the mop-up round is conducted offline. Candidates who have cleared the NEET PG cut-off and also fulfil all the requirements laid down by the HNBUMU are eligible to register for counselling. Through counselling, admission is given to the medical and dental colleges in Uttarakhand. Aspirants shortlisted in the Uttarakhand NEET PG merit list will be called for counselling. Step 1 Registration: Go to the official website of HNBUMU, Dehradun.

• On the home page click on the ‘NEET PG 2024 Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling’ link.
• Register with the NEET PG 2024 detailed.
• Enter the required details in the respective fields for Uttarakhand NEET PG registration.
• Verify and submit the details to complete the registration process.

Step 2 Pay Counselling Fee: After registration is completed the candidate needs to pay the fee.

• Go to the ‘Pay Registration Fee’ option available after form submission.
• Check the payment method and pay the registration fee.
• The one-time registration fee for Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling 2024 is Rs. 6,500 for all categories.
• Confirm payment through the online payment portal and download the fee receipt.

Step 3 Pay Security Money: The candidate needs to pay the refundable Security Money in addition to the registration fee based on medical college seats. 

• Go to the ‘Pay Security Money’ tab after the choice filling submission.
• Enter the required information and pay the fees as per the medical college seat.
• Confirm payment and download the receipt.

Uttarakhand NEET PG Merit List 2024 will be published by HNBUMU, based on the state merit rank of candidates in the NEET PG 2024 exam. The Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling 2024 Merit List is announced before the choice-filling procedure at the official website on hnbumu.ac.in.

Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling Seat Allotment Order 2024

HNBUMU will release the result of Uttarakhand NEET 2024 in the form of a seat allotment list. The seat allotment list will be prepared on the basis of the state merit list and the choices filled by the candidates. They will now have the option to accept/reject the seat allocated to them. Candidates who do not wish to continue with the seat allotted to them can participate in the second round of counselling.

Those who wish to continue with the seat allocated to them need to report to the respective institute for verification of the documents and confirmation of their admission. However, they can still opt for up-gradation and participate in the second round of Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024.
