Assam NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check for the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities before Applying for the Assam State Counselling

• Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian national.
• Exam: The candidate must have passed NEET PG 2024 with the required cut-off.
• Domicile: To be eligible for state quota counselling of NEET PG Assam the candidate must fulfil the Assam domicile requirement as mandated by the DME. 
• Academic: Must have completed the MBBS from a recognized institution under NMC.
• Internship: Completed their mandatory 1 year internship post-MBBS. 
• Registration: The candidate must either have Assam Medical Council registration or National Medical Council registration.

Assam NEET PG Counselling 2024 Process

Candidates whose names will be included in the state merit list will be called to the Assam PG medical 2024 counselling. Assam PG medical 2024 counselling will be conducted online by DME, Assam. There will be two counselling rounds for the MD/MS 2024, including the mop-up round and stray vacancy round.

The selection of students for Assam PG medical admissions 2024 would consider preferences, state merit rank, available seats, reservation requirements, and other elements. Aspirants will be asked to choose their preferred colleges and areas of specialisation during the counselling process.
