Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check for the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities before Applying for the Kerala State Counselling

Before completing the application form, candidates must complete the basic eligibility conditions for Kerala NEET PG 2024 Admission. Some of the basic eligibility criteria for Kerala PG medical are mentioned in the table below.

• Origin: The applicant must be of Indian origin/Kerala origin/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) having roots in Kerala.
• Domicile: Those who are wards of non-Keralite parents must have completed their MBBS degree from medical institutes in Kerala. Such candidates should also have chosen Kerala as their domicile.
• Age: Upper age limit is not there to apply for PG medical courses in Kerala.
• Qualification: It is compulsory for applicants to hold an MBBS degree/pass certificate from an MCI-recognised medical college. 
• Registration certificate: Candidates must possess a registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council (SMC). During registration, they need to submit this certificate to the concerned authorities. 
• Internship: Applicants must complete a 1-year rotatory internship on/before August 15, 2024. They should have a completion certificate for this internship.

The Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 process for each round will start with online registration at https://cee.kerala.gov.in/. Eligible candidates must register with their NEET PG 2024 details for Kerala PG admission 2024. The registration process for Kerala PG Medical Admission 2024 involves the following steps: 

The Kerala NEET PG Counselling registration process is divided into four steps followed by downloading of seat allotment results. The step-by-step process is detailed below for the Kerala postgraduate medical admission:

Step 1 Registration: Go to the official website at https://cee.kerala.gov.in/.

1. For registration, the Candidate will use his /her NEET PG roll no. and email registration in NEET PG (NEET PG) and follow the instructions on the screen.
2. Thereafter the candidate’s NEET-PG registration details will be displayed.
3. The exam-qualified applicant will make an online payment. SMS will be sent to his/her registered mobile no (that was used for NEET-PG registration confirming successful registration. The password you create at the time of registration, kindly note this password for choice filling.
4. After successful payment candidate will get Transaction and Registration no. on his/her registered mobile number.

Step 2 Pay Registration Fee: After registration is completed the candidate needs to pay the fee.

Kerala NEET PG counseling- Merit List 2024

The Kerala NEET PG Counselling authorities will release the state merit list having names, roll numbers, and ranks of shortlisted candidates for the choice-filling process. For Kerala NEET PG state merit list scores and rank in the NEET PG 2024 exam.

Kerala NEET PG counseling- Choice Filling

Kerala NEET PG Counselling Choice Filling is also known as the option entry process. In this process, participating colleges will provide the seat matrix for four different categories of seats which are government, private, NRI, and others.

1. Click on the choice filling.
2. Choice Filling Procedure:
   -Login for choice filing using your NEET roll number and password created at the time of registration.

• Choice filing can be done in several sessions but remember to save and continue; otherwise, you’ll lose your work. -The choice filling will not be complete until you finally submit and lock. No changes will be possible after closing the choice.

1. After the last date of choice, a filling is over. The seat allotment list will be declared online mode.

Kerala NEET PG Counselling Seat Allotment Order 2024

• The 2024 NEET PG allotment list in Kerala is developed based on the NEET scorecard, merit list, filled preferences, and the availability of seats.
• Candidates must report at the allotted college within the stipulated time following all the instructions after the allotment of the seats.
• Candidates are advised to take the printout of the admission letter for Kerala NEET PG 2024 before reporting to the allotted colleges.
• Those candidates who are not shortlisted for Round 1 of counselling can take part in further rounds.

Kerala NEET PG counselling 2024: Waiting list

Candidates who are not content with the colleges allotted to them in round 1 are included in the waiting list. Those candidates have to send an application stating their requirements to the concerned authority. After the completion of the counselling process, the wait-listed candidates will be called for counselling if the vacant seats are available in their preferred colleges.

Kerala NEET PG Counselling: Round 2

Candidates who were not shortlisted in round 1 of the Kerala NEET PG/MDS counselling can participate in round 2 of the counselling process. However, candidates must fulfil certain criteria to be eligible for round 2 which are as follows:

• After round 1, candidates who have upgraded their choice of course and colleges.
• Candidates must have selected the option of waiting list.

Kerala NEET PG Counselling: Mop-up Round

Mop-up round is conducted after the second round of counselling when the seats for PG/MDS are left vacant. Candidates having Kerala domicile and those who missed out on rounds 1 and 2 of the Kerala NEET PG counselling process will be considered for this round.
