Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check for the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities before Applying for the Gujarat State Counselling

• Exam: Passed NEET PG 2024 with respective category cut-off.
• Academic: Completed MBBS from a university recognised by NMC or established under any law of Gujarat state and situated in Gujarat. 
• Domicile: Completed 12th in Gujarat state if his or her medical degree college is outside Gujarat. Candidate must be born in Gujarat state.
• Internship: Completed the one-year MBBS internship by August 15 2024. 
• Registration: The candidate is registered with the State Medical Council or National Medical Council.

The Gujarat NEET PG counselling will be done in online mode. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will only be invited to participate in the counselling process. The counselling will be done in three rounds including a mop-up round for admission to MD/MS and PG diploma courses offered by the government, private medical colleges of the state. The aspirants will be allotted seats for Gujarat NEET PG 2024 admission based on their choices filled in the application form, NEET PG rank, category, and availability of seats.

About PIN for Registration

For Gujarat NEET PG 2024 online registration, the PIN could be purchased online (website: www.medadmgujarat.org) on payment of INR 3000/- (Nonrefundable) + INR 25,000 (Refundable Security Deposit) = Total INR 28,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only). Help Center working hours: 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Help Centers remain closed on Government Holidays and Sundays.
Candidate has to take a prior appointment for the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at the Help Center. The candidate, himself/ herself, can select the Date, time, and Help Center of his/ her choice for Document Verification at the time of printing the Registration Slip.

ACPPGMEC releases the category-wise revised provisional merit list of Gujarat merit list 2024 for NEET PG in online mode. The merit list includes the name of registered candidates. The merit list mentions the name of candidates, NEET PG rank, NEET PG scores, and state merit rank position.

Reasons for not being included in the Gujarat PG Medical 2024 State Merit List

Many candidates who had registered for the counselling of Gujarat NEET PG 2024, have not been included in the respective state merit lists. The reason for not being included in the state merit list can be any of the following:

• A candidate is not a citizen of India (excluding those eligible for NRI quota)
• The candidate did not qualify NEET PG 2024
• The university from which candidate had passed MBBS/BDS is outside the state of Gujarat (excluding those eligible under NRI and In-service quota)
• Failure to report for the document verification process at the help centre
• Internship was completed after August 15 2024
• Declared unfit by the Medical Board
• Candidate was admitted through ACPPGMEC in MD/MS/MDS course in the past 3 academic years or Diploma course in past 2 academic years.

Gujarat NEET PG counseling- Choice Filling

Candidates who have been listed in the State Merit list can fill their choices of preferred course/college into the preference form. To submit their choices, they will have to login to the registered accounts on the official website of Gujarat PG medical 2024 counselling. There is no cap on the number of choices that can be submitted by a candidate. Thus, they are advised to fill in as many choices as they can before submitting the preference form.

The candidate will have to complete the Gujarat PG Medical Counselling 2024 Choice Filling at the official website after completing the Document verification at the designated help centre. Later based on their NEET PG 2024 scores, vacant seats in preferred medical colleges/PG courses, and state merit rank the candidates will be allotted seats for Gujarat PG admission 2024.

Gujarat NEET PG Counselling Seat Allotment Order 2024

• he Choice filling process will be followed by the publication of the Gujarat NEET PG Counselling Seat Allotment 2024 results. The seat allotment results for Gujarat NEET PG 2024 admission will be published in PDF form. Candidates selected in the Gujarat PG Medical Admission 2024 Seat Allotment List must submit the tuition fee before the last date if they wish to retain the allotted seat.

Step for Confirmation of the Admission

Candidates who wish to retain the seat allotted to them during the counselling of Gujarat NEET PG/NEET MDS 2024 must follow the steps given below for confirmation of their admission.

1. Login to the registered account to book an appointment at the nearest Help Centre
2. Provide bank details for refunds (if any)
3. Download the allotment letter and fee challan
4. Pay the tuition fee/token amount (online/offline at nearest Axis Bank branch)
5. Download the payment receipt from ACPPGMEC portal
6. Visit the Help Centre at the designated date and time
7. Submit the documents in an 11×15 inch envelope with the following details written on it

• 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat)
