Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check for the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities before Applying for the Punjab State Counselling

1. Candidates must have completed MBBS degree from recognised college/institute in India. They must have pass certificate
2. A 12-month internship must have completed.
3. Aspirants must have permanent registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
4. They should have scored the minimum cut off marks in the exam

Punjab NEET PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria – In-service candidates

• Candidate should be a regular PCMS/PCMSW (Dental) employee
• An aspirant must have completed four years of service in a very difficult area (Category 1) or 6 full services in a difficult area or an appropriate combination of both.
• In case, a candidate has completed five years of service, then they should have completed it in the most difficult area or three full services in the difficult areas.
• The period of rural service shall be computed as on March 31, 2024.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024 Process

Authorities will conduct the Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 online in two rounds and a mop-up round. Aspirants are required to provide the names of the colleges and the courses they are interested in during the Punjab NEET PG 2024 counselling. Preferences, state merit rank, and the availability of seats will determine admission to MD/MS programmes. Aspirants who receive seats must report to the allotted college to verify and finish the admissions process.

At the time of the Punjab NEET PG counselling, applicants who will be admitted to any college through All India counselling must present original certificates or letters of consent from the chosen college. The University will at any time revoke the applicant’s admission if it is determined that they do not meet the requirements of the University or the notifications issued by the Punjab Government.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024 Registration Process

Only the candidates fulfilling the Punjab NEET PG eligibility criteria will be eligible to fill the application form of Punjab NEET PG 2024. The following steps need to be followed –

• Visit the official website of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), bhufs.ac.in
• Click on the “NEET PG 2024” link.
• Register by entering the details like candidate’s name, date of birth, email id, and mobile number.
• After successful registration, candidates will receive a User ID and Password on the registered email id and mobile number.
• Log in using the User ID and Password provided in the mobile number and email ID.
• Fill in qualification, educational, and contact details in the Punjab NEET PG application form 2024.
• Upload the scanned copies of the documents such as photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable), internship completion certificate, and NEET PG 2024 scorecard.
• Review all the details entered in the application form of Punjab NEET PG 2024 before submitting.
• Pay the application fee of Rs.5000 (Rs.2500 for reserved category) in online mode using debit/credit card or net banking.
• After successful payment, take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.
• Submit the Punjab NEET PG 2024 application form.

Punjab NEET PG counseling- Choice Filling

After merit list, the choice filling window will open for the eligible candidates. Candidates will have to provide the preference for colleges and courses in the choice filling for Punjab NEET PG 2023 counselling. Only registered candidates can declare choices for seat allotment. Candidates will have to login to declare choices and lock the same. The choice filling gets automatically locked after the deadline.
