The Chhattisgarh NEET PG Counselling 2026 process conducted by Directorate of Medical Education will be held online in four rounds — Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. If seats remain vacant before the final admission deadline, additional counselling rounds may also be conducted.

Candidates failing to verify documents or remaining absent during verification will become ineligible for further counselling rounds. Once a candidate is allotted a particular subject in a specific institution, the same seat cannot be allotted again in future rounds.

Round 2 Candidates eligible for Round 2 include:

Admission after seat allotment in Round 2 is compulsory. Candidates failing to join will lose their security deposit. However, they may still participate in the Mop-Up Round.
Mop-Up Round (Round 3) Upgraded candidates and newly registered applicants can participate in the Mop-Up Round. Candidates not joining the allotted seat in this round will forfeit their registration fee and become ineligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.
Stray Vacancy Round Only unallotted candidates and fresh eligible applicants can participate in the Stray Vacancy Round. Admission after allotment is mandatory. Candidates failing to join will lose their registration fee and may also be barred from counselling for the current and next academic session.
